Correct on most points Dean. However, ALL forend hardware was case colored along with the latch, tip and iron. Buttplate screws were sometimes blued and sometimes case colored actually.
SSBPs and their screws on such equipt guns were blued.
Correct in that all blued parts other than the barrels were Nitre Blued.
Triggers on guns below grade 3 were blued.
If you ever see a Parker with a blued top lever and action screws... It is not correct.
