With Parkers, the lever position means little as west of the bolt allows very little movement of the lever and the lever postion on every gun was a little different on every gun when it left the factory.

Other American guns have a lot more movement allowed in the lever as wear happens.

If the lever on these guns are are left of center, that just indicates heavy wear. But if the gun is still tight, still No worries.
