William,

I have two #1 frame 12 gauges. If I am shooting sporting clays, a 7/8 oz load is about all I want out of those lite guns. If I were to shoot pheasant, I think RST's 1 oz of #5's or 6's at 1175 fps would be just about perfect. If I could afford it I would shoot nothing else than RST's. Their shells pattern better and recoil less than anything I can produce at home.
