Thanks for the feedback. The serial number of the 20 gauge VHE is 241373. Parker records show there is information available.
Griffin and Howe do not show any records on their web site.
Original wood that is very nicely figured, with lots of case and bluing. Only real question is it has a pretty well dried red pad installed. Forgot to look the pad over for the maker.
Since I have never ordered a letter on a Remington era gun not sure what information I might be able to get. Have sent a PM to Chuck.
Any idea if Remington was installing pads, and what makes?
