If there is any humidity the answer is no.... Just ask Steve Barnett, on Friday I picked up the Repro B grade 410 he had, on the side facing the felt, a light covering of red (rust) was on the receiver side.
He said last weekend he had been a gun show on Brays Island, they wiped down all of the guns each morning and each evening and when they left they wiped them down again, problem was there was moisture caught in the felt and that had time to cause the rust. I don't think I would take the chance.
