Dogs can be expensive but they are worth every penny. I ran over my chocolate lab/golden retriever twice when he was a puppy. It has cost me about 5k since.
I have a friend that accidentally locked his wife and dog in the car trunk. Later realized his mistake and opened the trunk. His dog was glad to see him. He did not look very pretty afterwards.
Love my family, friends and adore my grandchildren but there is nothing like the love our dogs have for us.
