I don't think those patterns should be opened up at all. Remember, they were shot at about 20 yards. The majority of Parkers were patterned at 40 yards in a 30" circle or thirty yards in a 24" circle. My guess is that the patterns produced by that gun might almost be too open at 40 yards.
