Will, ironically, mine came from Atlanta, from Anderson's Hardware, according to my letter. On the oval is "Joseph Gray, Atlanta, Ga." Had to be some old quail hunters gun ordered in at cyl/mod. I can just see it pulled from the wagon and going in over point by a pair of setters. Mine has a good bit of drop also, around 3"and does have a nice skeleton butt. My gun is a little older at ser 132xxx, from 1905. Looks like a wonderful gun and hope you get good news from Chuck.
