Since I shoot so few I too load the eight bore by hand. I just glue in the overshot wad. I put load information on the wad so I know what I'm shooting. I don't think it would be difficult but certainly time consuming to make a crimp starter and crimp die for the eight bore, that is if one had a press to use them in.
