As a student of history, I long ago discovered the value in what these posts suggest: That to me at least, a major portion of any fine double gun's worth is the human connection it allows me to make with its original owner.

Not all of my guns have allowed me to trace that history. But those that have, have permitted me to touch the lives of many great men from the past. Poets, business tycoons, statesmen, adventurers, and even Presidents.

I'm humbled to touch the same stock and sight down the same barrels as they did. Thus, their guns are not just guns. They are time machines.
