Secretive? That isn't my impression, this forum and the people that are on it seem to be quite open and generous with what they know. Ask a question and it gets honest attention. In this case, the question of "are you working on it" may have been lost in the discussion of if they exist. Based on the discussion on existence it would seem, reading between the lines, that no, they are not working on it.
