Lazer microwelding has forever changed the world of professional firearms repair. The correct method of repair has always been to fit a new part. As parts no longer exist for many guns we have long relied on our machining to make new parts. Welding has always been frowned upon due to heat transfer.
we are now able to save many parts no matter how small or intricate.Welding pitts can save an otherwise ruined barrel. The key is understanding the limitations of the base metal.
Finding a welder that also understands firearms is difficult. Most shops can't bother with small jobs. Fortunately we generate sufficient volume enough to keep our welder busy. Iam sure that we will eventually bring it in house.
Again I can't say enough about the benefits of the process.
