See TPS for the chapter on barrels, chambers and barrel markings. All Parkers were proofed with loads greater than service loads. TPS provides proof and service load pressures. The marking shown below began about 1925; prior to that there was no definitive proof mark, just an inspectors mark applied when finished and after proof, usually JG or WK.
