The quote is something like:

"If a man can't handle a 12 gauge shotgun he might as well take up golf"

A little .410 or 28 gauge is a fine gun for a woman that can't handle the recoil of something larger.

One of my favorite writers, Robert Ruark said:

"Use Enough Gun"

I'm a great believer in the quote.
