Default New guy here

Just thought I would say hello to all the members as I got signed up awhile back.

I'm new to Parkers as I just bought a grade 1 16 gauge built in 1913 the gun is well used but still tight and should work well on my hunts in Washington and North Dakota. There is a slight crack in the wrist of the stock, so I need to get that fixed before I take it in the field.

If anyone can recommend a good person to look at the stock I'm all ears

A little bit about myself, I'm 55 and retired, I spend about 40 days a season hunting ducks and upland along with some big game hunts in between. During the off season we spent a ton of time in the mountains with our horses and mules exploring the back country.

I live in central Washington so we have some great hunting opportunities here close by.

I have several12 &16 gauge LC Smiths and Remington model 1900 12 ga, and a fully engraved Steyer 12 gauge that are my upland guns. For waterfowl I shoot mostly semi auto 12's

Anyway I hope to learn more about Parkers and hopefully I can acquire a couple more as time goes on. I just really love good solid American made shotguns.

Best
