I'll probably get dinged for this statement. The only reason why I joined this forum is because I bought a 28ga repro. The original Parkers are nice guns, but a 28ga is too expensive for me.

After joining the forum I became a PGCA a member. The 28ga repros are nice guns built with modern manufacturing methods, steel and better stock dimensions. Other than a collectibility factor, I'm not sure why an original is superior.
