There are many, many Parkers with replaced and upgraded wood. It is not unusual at all. The thing that would be unusual on a low grade Parker like a VH would be a perfect job in fit and finish of the replaced wood as well as period correct checkering, butt treatment, shape and contour of true Parker lines.
