As long as we're on the topic of 16-bore loads, I might share this 3/4 oz load:

13 grs. of Red Dot, CCI 209 primer, a Fiochhi case.

Mild but strong enough, hits and shatters clays with No. 8, and pressures via primer visual are low to moderate.

Load was also tested in WW and Rem black cases and worked equally well.

Since ALL of my guns are now shooting 3/4 oz loads, this one consolidates my 12-bore and 16-bore powder requirements.

PS: 13.5 grs of Red Dot was a bit too stout. Not dangerous, but "gettin' warm."
