I think the "2" is the grade identification, you have a grade two (GH). Normally the "2" would be found above the ser#, not below it?

I don't understand "matching it to as receiver", I assume you simply want to determine the frame size because the matching barrels are missing? Read FAQ #21 and then measure the distance between the firing pins to attempt to determine the frame size.
