Longshot
I found alot of Longshot this weekend at the local Cabela's and bought 2 pounds. I did not know anything about it other than it was mentioned frequently and positively on the 16 ga forum. It seems it is used mainly in heavy field loads and may not have much application to light 16 ga loads. I found several 1 oz loads I could live with, but i rarely shoot 1 oz anymore in the 16 ga. Anyb ody have any light loads (7/8) in 16 ga using Longshot, and what would happen if I dropped a 1 oz load to 7/8 and used a filler if necessary.
It can be used for 7/8 oz 20 ga loads, but I really dont need it for that generally loading 3/4 oz with Green Dot in the 20.
