Default One eared poodle

I couldnt resist this little 16 guage but Im afraid it may end up being an expensive lesson. It is has a few wood dents but generally quite nice with no cracks. The screws engraving and barrels are all excellent Seems really high quality. The bad news is it is missing a hammer and Im guessing there is less than zero chance of finding a match. second the forend will nolt come off. It has one of the european type forends with the botton on the front. I can push the botton in but the forend does not budge not even a wiggle. Ive tried everything short of a sledge hammer but no joy guess Ill have to seek prof. help. Any suggestions regarding hammer replacement / forend removal wood be much appreciated. Also Id like to find out who made it. It says "A recey S\ Ource on one side in gold inlay ( I know thats a village in France) and on the other side also in gold "Drioton"dont know if thats a maker or retailer. I paid next to nothing for the gun so if its worth it I wouldnt mind spending a few bucks on a restoration It has very nice dimensions 14 1/2 pull and 27 !2 barrels doesnt weigh much more than 5 lbs. Any thoughts on history and comments on whether this worth much effort from euro gun experts would be appreciated too. Thanks
