Price of shot is not following the spot price of lead. Any guesses why?
According to that link lead was around .57 a pound 5 years ago and is now just over .93 a pound. That is a 63% increase, this means a 25lb bag of lead that sold for $28 5 years ago would be over $45 today. I'd say a bag of lead shot is tracking the price of lead pretty closely.
