Hi, I found a parker I am interested in at a Eastmans gun show today so I came home and and just joined the forum and membership today. It is 92139 and was a 12 guage Improved Cylinder Hammerless with 30" barrels.

It looked very nice (actually too nice and since I wasn't well versed enough yet, I shied away from it). The guy wanted $1800 and I wasn't prepared to get it without doing some serious research.

I checked that all of the serial numbers matched.

It had a rubber stock pad and I knew that was a problem.

There was still some decent bluing and the finish was nice.

I did not think to take close up pictures so I know I can't get very specific feedback, but I know for next time.

I want to get that first Parker in my collection and almost pulled the trigger anyway, but knew I did not know enough yet.
