Hi Todd.!

Yep isn't that "just the way"?? Anyway - I remember my Great-Grand-dad and his gun cabinet. His single barrel trap gun had black tape over the handle - and he used shellac to "glue on a cheek piece.. He shot 100/100 with that in the Mass State Championships in the '20s for several years. My Grandfather - picked up that same habit of modifying his "trap gun" - and I still have that one - leather cheekpiece, shellac and all.. Neither of those are Parkers - but they are wonderful...

Anyway - yep - it's about the history...

So - from one "ding-a-ling" trap shooter to another???
