I was looking to buy the gun and the pictures are ok. The guy is in TN and prefers to do a face to face. I'm in CO so I'm waiting to see if he'll change his mind. From the pictures I've seen, there is no case color and the stock has dings/scratches from 80 years of hunting. The screws are still timed and aren't buggered. Engraving looks good and barrel blue is 70%. To me it is a gun in original fair condition.
From what I understand, the configuration (12 ga, 30" barrels, PG stock) is common. I don't the number of CHE grades were made in this configuration.
