There are surviving records sufficient for you to get a research letter. With your gun, it may just give you the basic specs on your gun that you can compare with what you have to see if it is original. If you join PGCA, you can get research letters for $40, plus a lot of other benefits.

All of that aside though, sounds like you have a great gun that will give you lots of fun if you get out and shoot it
