A large glass beer mug (the kind with a handle) makes a fine feather duster when somebody wants to get a little too rowdy. I saved myself suffering a knife stroke or two with one back in the day and I assure you I'll never forget it.
In these days of most bars now having pint glasses instead, I've gone back to carrying a leather blackjack though my old faithful one is much the worse for wear. Anybody know where a man could buy such an instrument in these modern times? I've been looking to find a replacement for quite awhile but without success.
