New Years Day 2014 and I got number 20 for the year !
Shot what I thought was a doe at 17:20 at about 32 yards with the Remington 700 6.5-06 with a Berger 130 VLD Hunting Match bullet pushed with 53 grains of RL-22 . At the moment my record with the pair of 6.5-06's I've owned is 6 shots and 6 deer !
This deer makes me equal the best season "number wise" I ever had !
Perhaps with three days left I can reach a new high number .
