Daryl, I doubt that Tom knew the provenance of the only gun he ever sold me either. It was owned by Bill Moore, editor and publisher for many years of Sportsmen's Review, predecessor of Trap and Field. It is engraved with his name and probably presented to him on some occasion. The price was $225.00. It was the first time Tom ever asked me if a price was too high. The gun is a beautiful prewar Model 12 Trap Grade.
