I know I am not normal. Believe me, many people have told me so. It must have had some effect on my selection when purchasing my repros. I have two, both 20's. The one pictured earlier in this thread does indeed weigh 6-12 but it does not feel like it. One serious well heeled grouse hunter friend has some very expensive English guns. I let him shoot my Parker on a round of 5-stand once. Immediatly thereafter he offered to buy it. Of course it is not for sale so he went out and bought one himself of the same configuration. Not the same dynamics as mine. He was so disgusted he offered to trade me his plus an insane amount of money. Nope not for sale. They are not all built the same.
I also have a 28 inch barreled gun, PG, DT, BFE. It weighs 6-15. With the snap caps in it just ticks the 7 pound mark. So, again I must have picked an abnormal gun. It is just a bit muzzle heavy but I bought it to shoot sporting clays and for that it is ideal.
Yep, I'm not normal and neither are my Parkers and I am just fine with that. Now, if only I could find an abnormal 12 ga!
