The latest DGJ has a fantastic article written by Craig Larter. In it he uses two Parker era advertisements which give him reference for two of the owners of a magnificent AAHE 12gauge. Feathered Lightning-
Last of the leaves was swirling down-crows flapping lazily above sunlit treetops. Boots rustling along suddenly stop. Then the roar of a 12 gauge lashing distant hills as down tumbles feathered lightning-a quartering shot well placed.
