The original 12g monoblock was used. Barrels were cut of in don't of the chambers.
I would assume that the CSMC is built on the 20g frame since they are making the barrels 100% from scratch.

When the builder and I were talking about donor guns, he gently frowned upon using a fox, LC or NID. Not only because of it being single bolted, but due to the fact it is bolted through the rib extension.
