Also the options it was originally made with are in the Serialization book too.

Things like barrel length, single trigger, grip type, beavertail forend, extra barrel sets, etc. are denoted by the number in the options column next to your serial number.

Post the serial number here and someone will certainly be able to tell what options the gun was originally made with.... providing it wasn't made so late that there is only a Remington IBM card on the gun. Those tell us very little.
