JP Stevens, Iver Johnson, and Winchester made single shot guns in 24 ga. I would suspect other American Mfgrs also did, but it is a relatively common gun in Europe, and has been continually available.
The Vintagers now recognizes 24ga. as a class now, in addition to 32ga. 14 ga. is still unclassified.
