C.M. 'Chan' Powers, of Decatur, Ill. was a well known turn-of-the-century trapshooter

He was part of the 1901 Anglo-American match, shooting a Parker. After the match, he was quite ill with Typhoid Fever and was unable to return home with the team, but did recover.
