Trojans are rapidly joining the ranks of 28's and .410's. The two older guys carting the Trojan around were sent to the show by a friend who owned the gun to sell it for him. One guy was obsessed with the fact that the gun was made in 1927(?); the other had absolutely no idea what he was carrying around except that it was a "Parker Brothers from Meridian (sic) CT.' Yes it did have a lot of color and yes it did have sound wood, but when I asked them the price and they told me the guy at home wanted $3700 for it, I got out of there fast. The two guys carrying the gun around kept looking at one another as if they knew that the gun was priced about 3 times what it should have been.
Antics like this are prime examples of the insane mania fueling the outrageous prices lately for Parker Guns. I hope we don't see anything like it at Sanford later this week!
