Inherited Parker - trying to figure value.
Greetings all,
I have done some research regarding my Dad's old Parker. When I got it there were two different stocks. I looked at the serial numbers the stock that was attached to the barrel did not match. The unattached stock did match. I seem to remember my Dad buying a stock from the police department after they burned the barrels.
Here is what I do know. The matching serial numbers (57685) from what I can find, is from 1889. The other stock with serial number (60316) is from 1890. The markings that I see and with the Damascus barrels suggest that it is a GH Grade 2.
