Trojan serial numbers
A quail hunting buddy of mine acquired a 20 gauge trojan. The serial number was five digits with a small mark then a smaller digit. The research page said there were records for the five digit serial number but no record if I listed the sixth digit. What is the correct number of digits for the production range of trojans?

All Parker grades were serialized together in numerical order. No exceptions were made based on guage or grade, or even for type of action. All Parker serial numbers will be 6 digits or less considering that only about 240,000 were made total. Serial numbers hit 100,000 in 1900. And the Trojan was not introduced until late 1912. So, all Trojans will have 6 digit serial numbers. Providing the gun you question is in fact a Trojan.

George, Is it possible the number was mis-stamped and not legible?
