Brian Dudley - Gun Stock Maker
I just received a completed GH forend restoration that
Brian did for me. The original wood broke in half and the previous owner stuck it together with gorila glue. I found a decent forend wood that was in bad need of restoration, refinish, recheckering and fitting to the original metal. Brian did an outstanding job and the border is a perfect Parker match. I probably should keep this my secret because before long he will be very busy with long backlog, but I do highly recommend his work!!! Bob Jurewicz |
Brian is working on a DH 10 gauge for me. I have only seen photos of the work in progress and look forward to getting the finished product. The photos so far look great

I didn't think of pictures. I don't have a camera with me. I took one with the Iphone but it's not very good.

A Before and After

I sent the 1930 VHE with the broken stock (shown here) to Mr. Dudley with a piece of feather crotch walnut I had in my shop for restoring the gun. The workmanship and finish in the rehab of this orphan Parker is a joy to behold. The refit of the bent and twisted lower tang, the spur buttplate and the Parker shield are all done with the care of a true craftsman. The finish is exactly what I was anticipating to bring out the beauty of the wood. A tip of the hat to Brian for a well done restoration of this 80+ year old gun.
