VHE Chokes

We measured the chokes on the 12 ga. 28" bbls VHE (circa 1929 mfg)I just purchased this past week They measured out as follows:

Left barrel: .732 - .964 (per the table Extra full choke)
Right bbl: .731 - .706 (per the table - Improved modified

My question is - would these be an uncommon choke configuration? something likely to be special ordered? Not unusual at all?

Allen;
They are common for a Parker. At least you know the chokes have not been fooled with. Sounds like a nice gun. Enjoy the tight chokes.:)

they're tighter than some girls i knew in high school!

Wish I went to your high school.:rotf: I assume you meant .694 not .964 on that left barrel. That gives you .025 on the right and .038 on the left. Grind 'em up buddy. Check your PM's.

you're correct. .732 - .694 on the left bbl. Extra Full Choke

turn them to dust
