Decoys!

You duck hunters and decoy collectors might find this auction of interest.
Lots of fine (and expensive) decoys here.

The sleeping Bluebill by Keith Mueller of Connecticut (I gunned eider with Keith one day years ago in Plymouth Harbor). is a steal at a starting bid of $100. Keith's carving skills are exceptional and his oversize eiders are out of this world.

There's several Ken Harris decoys that are very nice.
You have to be very careful with decoy buying though as there have been instances over the year's when some skilled enterprising carvers have replicated Ward and other decoys and tried to pan them off as originals. Choose your auction house carefully and make sure it's reputable.

I bet almost none of the opening bids listed will even come close to getting a bird.

You can bet on that Robert. There are decoys in that auction from classic carvers. It will draw much attention and $$.
