Thread Repair
 

Can anyone direct me to a smith who has the ability to repair (drill and tap, heli-coil, or whatever) the stripped threads in the tumbler(?) that accepts the hammer screw on one of my hammer guns?

Browning called them Tumbler Axles, but I've always known them as just 'axles'.

Tom, you should make a list on what you are able to do. I also have an axle that needs to be worked on. Thanks for asking Dean!!!

Received these perfect screws back in record time from Tom. Screws made to fit for my one side somewhat wobbled-out threads where a wrong size replacement screw was used.
