Here is another little princess of the uplands you wont see too often. I imagine you could find a hundred VH or Sterlingworth 20's for every one of these you will see.
Syracuse Lefever DSE (yup, ejectors) 20 ga, with 26" IC/M barrels. Probably weighs 5 1/2 lbs. Very little bluing left and no case colors. Wood is decent but probably a little oil soaked at the head. I saw one of these once that had been totally reblued, recased, and refinished and it was beautiful. Ive had this one over 20 yrs and think I will leave it as is. Love to find one in 16.

Definitely a classic and one of my favorites. I am having an E grade worked on at the moment...however 12 ga. Can't wait to get it back. I regularly shoot a GE and love it.

A Durston Special with ejectors must be rather uncommon. Cool!

nice little gun.rarely seen for sure.ive seen the 16 ga about 15 years ago guy wanted 400 dollars...time i decided to get it it was gone...even seen a 8 ga hammerless on the internet several years back i was just 3 months to late it was a nice gun went for 1500..i still choke up on missing the 8 ga...im like you i like my guns in there natural state if they are in fair shape...i have a real nice ds grade 20 but these are fairly common... charlie
