Parker light 10?

I was curious to see if anyone has ever heard of a "Parker light 10", i think it's an N grade. I was wondering if anyone had any information on these? Thanx for the help in advance, 1st time poster.

Sure, here's one in C grade.

SN 65,557 CH 26" 10ga dam on 2 frame, choked cyl and cyl from factory. I don't know how common they are. I don't know of any others but I assume there are. I shot quite a few birds with it this fall.

Do you know if they come in other grades?

Anything the customer wanted and was willing to pay for the Brothers P. would build. While 3-frames are the most common for 10-gauges, the 2-frame 10-gauges are not uncommon. Probably pretty scarce in the beautiful gun Bruce showed us!! Very nice!!

We know of at least one very light 10-gauge DH-Grade built on a 1-frame. It was at our PGCA booth at The Vintage Cup at Sandanona a couple of different years.

I've seen a 10 gauge and a 2 frame in decent shape, with frosted bores. I've been thinking about picking it up from a gun show.

There was a gun labeled as a "light 10" at the Michigan Antique Arms Show a few weeks ago.

The EH 28" ten I recently traded away was under 8 pounds, fairly open chokes as I recall. #2 frame. My 27" DH weighs exactly 7 pounds, 8 ounces, factory ordered with backwards chokes, cylinder in the left barrel. Also a #2 frame.

bill you get tired of that lite weight ten you holler real loud so some of us boys could get tired of it...ha i too have a dh no 2 frame 10 with 26 inch barrels but they been cut...never weighed it but for sure under 8 lbs... one things funny about the engraving on it...on the left side the pointer is facing toward the but end of the gun on the right side the setter is facing toward the end of the barrels..hey i forgot we were talking about lite weight tens.... charlie

I have a #2 Frame Parker EH 10 gauge which weighs 9 lbs 3 oz.

I also have a #2 Frame Parker DH 10 gauge which weighs 8 lbs 2 oz.

I consider a light 10 gauge to weigh not much over 8 lbs. There is a big difference carrying a 9 pound gun in the field as compared to an 8 pound gun!

A #2 frame 10 gauge doesn't always mean it is a light gun.
