Take a look at this charred Parker on gb. It clearly shows as a grade 2 on the water table, but the engraving is of grade 3 (DH) quality. The gun books as a grade 2 as well.

Because some people do not understand the rules and some others want to cover their butts just in case

I was more bringing this up because of the engraving. What do all of you think? Has anyone previously observed DH engraving on a GH before?

I have not seen D engraving on a G before but I bet there is more than one. Perhaps it was less expensive to upgrade the G engraving than to buy a D? That stock was quite nice and could have been an upgrade also. It would be interesting to see a factory letter on this one.
