Fresh off the hill country farm for your morning pleasure are these two; one a Crown grade, the other an Eagle grade.

great looking guns, wow, true american classics! there are some quite close resemblances in the action to my lefever sidelock, but my gun is nowheres near what these guns are, im just happy with it the way it is, a pleasure to hunt with

Great guns! Excellent pics! I find it interesting that these Smiths look like Lefevers of a similar vintage. I know little about Smiths. Are they true sidelocks? When were these guns made?

Thank you for posting the pictures. Beautiful guns.

steve the lc smith is a side lock gun...maybe not in the eyes of them british boys whose side locks comes off as removables and can be stored in the case... charlie

Just my humble opinion but there were few guns built on this side of the pond with finer engraving than Grade 5 LC Smiths. (A beautifully restored Grade 5 is at the top of my Christmas list. Hint, hint Santa Brad)
