Need Help!
I recently acquired a Parker Brothers 16 ga. Action size O, V above serial #.
I cannot find reference to markings on water table which shows K, small mark that looks like an s and the number 3. I've deciphered all other markings except these. Can anyone help? My e-mail is poorrichard2@comcast.net if pictures will help clarify. Thanks |
Maybe a big 3 and a small 5 for the barrel weight before final striking. The K is probably for a King, the barrel inspector. V is the grade, which you probably already knew. V for VH or VHE. An automatic ejector gun would be VHE.

Thank you. This gun was made in 1901. Is their a reference book that I could acquire that may have more complete information on guns of that period. This gun is in 85% condition and well worth the effort to identify it completely.

Check this out for Parker info.... but the if you only get one, then get THE PARKER STORY

Ever think of ordering a letter if one is available? That might tell you who ordered the gun originally and would tell you the original configuration.
