A Two-Fer Deal
 

This pair of DHE 28 ga's sold for $54,000 four months ago. One gun was very nice. The other had been poorly gunmangled but was rescuable.

A couple of us looked, but in the end a person bought them who will fluff them up and resell them.

Makes a 28ga Parker Reproduction at typical prices an absolute bargain.

You're absolutely right Bruce. To the untrained eye (with the exception of the serial numbering and the markings on the barrels of the Repros) it would be difficult to distinguish between the later originals and the the Repros.

A DHE 28 30 inch bbl, 0 frame, SST, SBP ball grip sold on Gunbroker for $9500. I missed that one:banghead::cuss:

Looks like a nice shooter, the wood looks refinished and the checkering pointed up.

The floor price is $37,500. So which one of you fellows is going to get it? Its only $10,000 more than the per gun price on the pair of D's I showed above.
