Value of a set of 26 " 12 ga Repro barrels ?
I have a set of 26" 12 gauge barrels that I have left after selling my Reproduction two barrel gun a few years ago. It is in excellent condition with unaltered Q1/Q2 chokes. What is the value of the barrels ?

If you put them up for auction on one of the auction sites such as gunbroker.com and start out with a low minimum bid you will find out soon enough.
I would think those barrels choked as they are would be quite desirable to some. |
I would think 1000.00 on the low end and 1500.00 on the hi end...The barrels will also work on a original 1 1/2 frame Parker. Fitting by someone qualified will run 2-300.00 I would think 1800.00 to have a completed deal not to bad....thanks all SXS ohio.

I am a dope when it comes to Reproduction guns- what are Q1 and Q2 chokes?

Quail 1/Quail 2. Very open.

Thanks Bob.
Did they make skeet choked barrels as well. |

(As we all know the Win 23s were made alongside the Parker Repros.) I have sought and gained 'qualified 'opinions from a few local Winchester afficionados ... Besides a unanimous verdict of the markings being original the only other outcome is confusion as to the correlation between choke desriptions. I know a bore gauge will determine which set of choke markings is correct, but that's not the cause of my puzzlement. |
Pray, Tony - what is your puzzlement?
Hie thee downe to the local gunne smith and ask him to vernier caliper the choke end of the barrels. Then decipher the vernier caliper reading and compare it to his chart of choke constrictions and you, at least, have the answer to how much choke is in the gun. |

Thank you Dean - O' great encyclopedia of Parkerdom.
I am embarrassed to say that for me Quail 1 and Quail 2 would be 1965 and 1966 respectively and there is no Quail 3. |
