Gunsmith in Cleveland, Ohio

I've just acquired a 12 Guage Parker #216067. It's a 1926 DN (Grade 3) gun. I'd like to take it to a Parker knowledgable gunsmith. Anybody have a recommendation in the Cleveland, Ohio area?

If anyone would like to see pictures of the gun, I can post them.

Hello, And I would like to see pictures.

I'll post pictures in the morning. Do you know an appropriate gunsmith in Northern Ohio or Western Pennsylvania?

Book has it as a DH w/ ejectors (DHE) 12 ga. capped pistol grip and 32"Titanic steel barrels. Do you feel the gun has has a problem or you just want it cleaned ?

DH...read the grade wrong (I'm just learning about Parkers). It has ejectors, but it's not marked DHE. Nice shape I think. Hasn't been fired in many years. I' just like to have it checked out.

Welcome Alex, your in for a fun ride.:bigbye:

Thanks, Paul. As a boy, my uncle in Kentucky used to take me bird hunting and allowed me to use his Parker. He always spoke of it reverently, and I've always wanted one. The gun I now have belonged to my father-in-law who was an avid trap shooter and hunter.

Both my daughters were born in San Antonio when I was stationed there in the Air Force. Nice town.

It's raining to beat the band here now. I'm getting off work at 8:00 am then have to fix my tractor for cutting grass tomorrow. Man I should have done it yesterday. Thats what I get for cleaning my parkers before my work was done.:knowbetter::knowbetter::knowbetter:

So tell me about this rain over, an inch?

Paul Plager 08-19-2012 07:26 AM

Per the rain gauge at work, 4.7 in from 9:00 pm to 6:30 am
